FORMER Bay City Roller Alan Longmuir has married his sweetheart in a paradise island ceremony.
The veteran pop idol whisked his bride off to the Caribbean for the top secret wedding. They are believed to have flown abroad alone for the beach ceremony and asked a local to be best man.
Bass guitarist Alan, 49, met his new wife Eileen Rankin, 38, several years ago. The couple share a home in Stirling.
Ex-Rollers manager Tam Paton said they wanted a private ceremony, and will celebrate with friends and family later. "They wanted to be on their own. As far as I know, they picked the best man out there. They are having a reception in Stirling when they get home," he said.
